I. Context
Mr. Wang's sense of direction is very poor, but he has to to travel here and there to promote his business in big cities. Mr. Chang suggests that he should install a GPS navigation system. After Mr. Wang learns about the advantages of having a global positioning system, he can't wait to install one.
II. Dialogue
Wang: Mr. Chang, would you please tell me how to drive to Lucky Road
Chang: At first, you go along Hsiao-Tung Road to Pei-Men Road, and then turn left, and then
Wang: Just a moment. It's too complicated for me to remember because I have a bad sense of direction.
Chang: I suggest you should install a GPS
navigation system!
Wang: What is GPS
Chang: It is the abbreviation for
Global Positioning System.
Wang: What is the benefit of installing this gadget
Chang: It can teach you how to get to your destination on the screen.
All you have to do is drive according to the instructions.
Wang: So amazing! Can you tell me where I can get it
Chang: In most auto parts shops.
Wang: What's the price
Chang: The cheapest is about 6,000 NT dollars.
Wang: The price is very reasonable. I will install one.
Chang: You often work outside the office. It's absolutely necessary for you.
Wang: Oh! By the way, after installment, do I have to pay any extra cost
Chang: No. Because GPS can receive radio waves emitting from the synchronized satellite above the earth to navigate, manufacturers only produce receivers. Also, you do not need to pay a monthly fee for the service.
